Looped double DVD projection with 4 channel sound
Taking the sound source as the first consideration makes a film. Holes and scratches made with a magnetized pin are punctured into a length of 1/4” magnetic audiotape, resulting in a soundtrack. These are then copied using the pin into exposed double 8mm film. Two films are made, as it is a stereo soundtrack. Both the audiotape and the film have the same dimensions and are recorded at the same speeds, using the same production; holes and marks take away from the sound and image by producing new ones.
