IN/from the out 2012
with Helmut lemke
Site specific materials, processes, drawings, video, film, electrics
IN/(from the out) was a collaborative project by Ben Gwilliam & Helmut Lemke working with listening and location sound (& their contexts) at the site of BLANKSPACE gallery Manchester.
As practitioners in the ‘between’ areas of sound/music and the Fine Arts they took the value of listening; to be engaged with the human relationship of sound in the environment, looking at three distinct urban ‘scapes’ (land, sound and texture).
